Maggie Simon, LMSW

I approach therapy as a collaborative process of reflection and exploration that provides an opportunity for deeper self-understanding and growth. My goal is to create a space that feels supportive and grounding, and is shaped by what feels most meaningful or useful to you. I work with people who may feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges. Many of the people I work with are navigating periods of transition: professionally or personally, including shifts in identity, career change, or burnout related to caregiving, creative work, or helping/ service professions.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I bring additional training in expressive arts therapy and body-based practices. For some people, creative approaches such as visual art, writing, movement, or music can offer another way of exploring experiences when words alone feel limited or difficult to access. These approaches are always optional and available in our sessions together if you feel drawn to them.

Together, we will look at thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are holding you back or are difficult to sit with alone. I offer support and tools that are tailored to you, whether more structured, such as CBT-informed strategies, or exploratory, such as expressive arts and body-based approaches. If you are feeling uncertain about where to begin or what you need, that’s okay! Therapy can be a place to begin finding a way forward that is unique to you. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more.
