We do work with certain insurance plans that have out-of-network benefits. Send us your insurance card and date of birth to see what your out of pocket costs would be. We courtesy bill, so that means that you owe a flat rate every week, and we bill the insurance for the rest (not unlike in-network insurance).

In therapy, we believe that open conversations—especially about tricky topics like money—are essential. We encourage you to reach out and talk with us about what you can realistically afford.
Our standard session fees range from $100 to $300, depending on the clinician's level of experience. If you have insurance, your out-of-pocket costs may be significantly reduced.
Each clinician offers a limited number of reduced-fee (sliding scale) slots. These are made possible by clients who are able to pay the full fee. In other words, full-fee sessions help support our ability to offer lower-cost options to others. Because of this, the fee you’re able to pay can affect slot availability.
We’re committed to finding a rate that works for both of us, when possible. If we’re not able to meet your needs at this time, we’re happy to help connect you with another provider who may be a better fit financially.

You can directly schedule a consultation or initial appointment through one of the "book now" buttons on our page. You can also contact us through the contact form, email, call or text via the contact page.
After contacting us, you will receive an email from the practice to verify insurance/sliding scale. Afterward, you will have either a 15-minute consultation or receive documents to begin the process of confirming your initial appointment. Once your documents are received, your therapist will contact you with information on office location or a virtual link.

In the initial consultation, your chosen therapist will get to know what is bringing you to therapy and listen to any parts of your problem that you feel are important. You will get a feel for what your work together might look like, and see if you feel comfortable with them. A good fit is important in the therapeutic relationship, and if you decide they are not the right therapist for you, we are happy to provide you with a referral that might better suit your needs.

Most clients meet weekly, especially at the start, to build momentum. Some shift to twice weekly or biweekly sessions over time. We'll discuss what schedule works best for your needs, goals, and availability.

Individual and couples sessions are typically 45-50 minutes.

Therapy is different for everyone. Some clients come for short-term, solution-focused support, while others choose longer-term, in-depth work. Typically, clients stay with their therapist for 1+ years. Together we'll determine a pace and duration that supports your goals.

Finding the right therapist is essential to any successful treatment. The best way to find out is to attend an initial session. Therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and connected to your therapist. Therapy can feel uncomfortable, but it is important you feel you can share those feelings with your therapist.
