Noah Miska, LMSW
I work with people who are capable and thoughtful, but feel weighed down by stress, uncertainty, or self-criticism. My clients often include men—queer and straight—as well as educators, lawyers, and creative professionals who want to understand themselves more clearly and live with greater balance. I offer sessions remotely across New York and Vermont, in person in Chelsea, Manhattan, and through “walk and talk” sessions in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
I take an active, collaborative approach to therapy. My background includes crisis work in California and Oregon, and I completed my MSW at UC Berkeley. I draw from cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and relational frameworks to help clients identify patterns, manage anxiety, and build resilience in daily life.
My goal is to offer a therapy space that is steady, practical, and attentive to each client’s context. I aim to be transparent, thoughtful, and mindful of how culture and identity shape our experiences. If you think I may be a good fit, please reach out for a brief consultation to discuss goals, scheduling, and next steps.
