Betsey Goldwasser, LMSW
I believe therapy is a place to process life’s hardest moments and to reconnect with your own strength. Over the years I’ve worked closely with children and families, helping young people navigate grief, anxiety, and big changes. That experience deeply informs my work with adults as well—whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, adjusting to divorce, or feeling weighed down by stress, perfectionism, or creative burnout.
In my practice, I support children, adolescents, and adults who are facing grief, major life transitions, or the challenges that come with complex family dynamics. I also work with people navigating intergenerational conflict, as well as those in creative fields balancing ambition, self-doubt, and the pressure to constantly produce. My style is warm, collaborative, and adaptable, always focused on what feels most helpful for you.
I earned my MSW from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University, training that gave me a strong clinical foundation while also shaping my interest in grief and resilience across the lifespan. Together, we can slow things down and make space for healing—whether that means processing grief, finding new ways of relating, or building more self-compassion. My hope is that therapy not only helps you through a difficult season, but also supports lasting growth, balance, and connection.
