Rachel Liles, LCSW
Founder and Director
Virtual NY, NJ, & MA; She/Her
With over 20 years of experience in mental health, I offer a warm, supportive, and often humorous approach to therapy. As a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and relationship challenges. I also have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, offering a safe, affirming space to explore gender, sexuality, and identity.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. While rooted in relational psychodynamic therapy, I integrate various methodologies to support your growth. Together, we'll examine how past experiences shape your present, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of thinking, relating, and setting boundaries.
Before establishing my private practice in 2011, I worked in community mental health and hospital settings, gaining invaluable experience in complex emotional issues and LGBTQ+ care. I hold degrees from New York University in Applied Psychology and Social Work and continue advanced clinical training and mentorship with esteemed institutions like Callen-Lorde, Ali Forney Center, the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (affiliated with NYU School of Medicine).
Whether you're looking for deeper self-awareness, emotional healing, or tools to navigate relationships more effectively, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to create meaningful, lasting change.

Deanna Fusco, LCSW
Clinical Supervisor and Psychotherapist
Brooklyn, She/Her
My warmest welcome to you as you consider therapy. I look forward to learning about who you are and exploring your thoughts, feelings, fears and dreams. In therapy, I like to help people think for themselves. This can look like breaking away from conformist cultural norms, differentiating from authoritarian parents, or recovering from groupthink. I will sit with you through uncertainty. and celebrate your growing self-acceptance. I offer a therapist’s perspective but invite you to disagree with my interpretation. We will seek to understand your past and your here-and-now. We visualize your future, too.
For almost a decade, I’ve helped individuals, couples, families, and groups in Brooklyn. I consider myself a general practitioner of psychodynamic psychotherapy, seeing adults of diverse backgrounds and concerns. But often, clients will come to me for help with grief, occupational burnout, sex and relationships, trauma, and self-esteem. I also hold particular expertise in the modern issue of social media, managing screen time/media, and video game addiction. My BA in History and Master of Social Work are from CUNY Hunter College.
My clients appreciate my approach to therapy as more of an art than a science. I practice relational psychotherapy blended with contemporary psychoanalysis and existential- humanistic techniques. You may or may not recognize these play out while we work, but rather, simply feel supported, connected, and relieved.

Manhattan, She/Her
In my practice, the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the work. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and affirming environment where you can explore your emotions, relationships, and experiences with curiosity and compassion. As social beings, our sense of self is shaped by our connections with others—together, we’ll examine how these dynamics impact your life in the past, present, and future.
I specialize in working with adults, parents, and couples to help them build stronger relationships and feel more connected to themselves and others. My expertise includes disordered eating, polyamory/non-monogamy, adoption, LGBTQIA+ identities, and supporting parents navigating a child’s gender exploration. My therapeutic approach is rooted in relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, while also incorporating IFS, DBT, and motivational interviewing to best meet your needs.
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Middlebury College and New York University, with post-graduate training at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis & Psychology.
My style is warm, open, and gently challenging. Whatever you're navigating, I will meet you where you are—offering both acceptance and encouragement to help you move toward growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change.

Bridge Condron, LMSW
Manhattan, They/Them
In my work, I love helping my clients nurture deep and compassionate connections with themselves, even the parts of themselves that may feel shameful or that they may have struggled to find kindness towards in the past. In therapy, we can partner to address many things, including exploring gender or sexuality, improving your relationship with substances, finding relief from anxiety, depression, or ADHD symptoms, addressing patterns in intimate relationships, healing past trauma, and much more.
I’m particularly passionate about working with LGBTQ+ people and celebrating queer joy and identity. In a society that is not always physically or emotionally safe for LGBTQ+ people, therapy can be a liberatory place where we honor and support you exactly as you are.
I hold a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington, I am an Internal Family Systems informed provider, and I utilize Somatic modalities, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. This means that a session with me will be tailored to your specific needs, and can include growing your awareness of your bodily sensations, thoughts, and emotions, to gain more choices around your reactions to life and life’s stressors.
All parts of you are welcome here. If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out, I’m excited to meet you.

In therapy, we place an importance of discussing tricky topics — money is one of them. I encourage you to contact us and discuss what you can afford. Our fees range from $100-300. Each clinician has a full fee relative to their experience and a few slots dedicated to sliding scale, and the amount you can pay impacts the availability of other slots. Full-fee slots help us afford our lower fee slots, and the lower the fee, the less we can afford to slide for another slot. Depending on our current caseload, we will assess whether we can find a fee that works for both of us and when we cannot accommodate a fee, we can help direct you to another practitioner that can.
-
You can book an appointment via our website through email; we also receive referrals through Therapy Den, Mental Health Match, Psychology Today, and Zoc Doc.
After contacting us, you will receive an email from the practice to arrange for either a brief phone or paid in-person consultation. If you need a sliding scale, this is the time to let us know. Upon confirmation of appointment and any fee discussion, we will send you a link from Simple Practice to sign a few forms and enter a credit card number to keep on file.

In the initial consultation, your chosen therapist will get to know what is bringing you to therapy and listen to any parts of your problem that you feel are important. You will get a feel for what your work together might look like, and see if you feel comfortable with them. A good fit is important in the therapeutic relationship, and if you decide they not the right therapist for you, we happy to provide you with a referral that might better suit your needs.
After the first session, you may have had any variation of thoughts or feelings in reaction to sharing such sensitive information with someone new. I urge you to share these feelings, if possible.
In your second session, the therapist may be more directive while getting to know more about your problem. If you didn't discuss it before, they may want to know about your history around the following: your family, your friends, your childhood, your interests and hobbies, education, employment, medical problems, sexual issues and preferences, traumatic events, and any other details that may seem important to discuss.
After getting your detailed history, we urge you to share whatever comes to mind as important. Whether it be a good or bad event in your week, a dream, a feeling, a goal, or related to something that is happening in the room; it is all relevant. If you don't feel like talking, that can be informative, too.
For a while, the therapist will be listening closely, speaking less in an effort to better understand your issue. However, this does not mean they will be silent. They will give you feedback; help you make connections and gain self-awareness. They will help you understand what you are feeling, and make sense of your life.

APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
Each time slot is your dedicated time, and will be held for you each week. Fees are waived for 3 cancellations per 12 month period. Rescheduled appointments will be accommodated when at all possible and remote sessions are available. All cancellations thereafter are charged to your credit card.
Clients who cancel with less than 6 hours notice or who do not show for your scheduled appointment will be billed for the session.
The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 45 minute weekly sessions. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance.
The full fee of $225 will be due at the end of each session for each client, unless a another arrangement has been discussed with the practice owner. Credit cards will be saved on file for each client. You can choose to use this method of payment for each session, or only for instances where your bill is overdue. Other forms of payment include Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal. Superbills will be sent at the end of the month when required for out-of-network reimbursement, HSA/FSA.
TELEPHONE ACCESSIBILITY
If you need to contact your therapist between sessions, please leave a message on their voice mail. We are often not immediately available; however, we will attempt to return your call within 24 hours. If a true emergency situation arises, please call 911 or any local emergency room.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND TELECOMMUNICATION
Due to the importance of your confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, we do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). We believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship. If you have questions about this, please bring them up when we meet and we can talk more about it.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
We cannot ensure the confidentiality of any form of communication through electronic media, including text messages. If you prefer to communicate via email or text messaging for issues regarding scheduling or cancellations, we will do so. You can typically expect a response within 24 hours. As we cannot guarantee immediate response, please do not request assistance for emergencies.
MINORS
If you are a minor, your parents may be legally entitled to some information about your therapy. Your therapist will discuss with you and your parents what information is appropriate for them to receive and which issues are more appropriately kept confidential.
TERMINATION
Ending relationships can be difficult. Therefore, it is important to have a termination process in order to achieve some closure. The appropriate length of the termination depends on the length and intensity of the treatment. We may terminate treatment after appropriate discussion with you and a termination process if we determine that the psychotherapy is not being effectively used or if you are in default on payment. We will not terminate the therapeutic relationship without first discussing and exploring the reasons and purpose of terminating. If therapy is terminated for any reason or you request another therapist, we will provide you with a list of qualified psychotherapists to treat you. You may also choose someone on your own or from another referral source.
